He stole my virginity and jilted me…she left me for a wealthier man…after all I’ve done for him, he married another girl…you just woke up to call it quits, just like that? ...many relationships have experienced overwhelming sorrows like these and heartbreak has come to be attached to love but its appalling how people can break your heart and you still love them with the pieces.
Some will advice you to run a parallel relationship so you can fall back one if the other fails; others will ask you to love with your head and not with your heart to avoid heartbreak; that’ll probably leave you with a head break.
I’ll tell you something; people break your heart because you misunderstand what love is all about. I have or do something that appeals to you, so you love me? Nonsense! Love is not based on anything; else it’s no longer agape in nature.
Quote me anytime, any day; if you go into a relationship bearing in mind what you’ll do for it not what you’ll make of it, you’ll never suffer heartbreak. Heartbreak is a result of disappointment or expectation cut short; worst of all, when your previous painstaking sacrifice was for that expectation. It shouldn’t be a give and take affair so give what you can afford to lose. I love you.
